A 3D Mammogram is a revolutionary new screening and diagnostic tool designed for early breast cancer detection that can be done in conjunction with a traditional 2D digital mammogram. 3D mammograms have allowed a 41% increase in the detection of early breast cancer over 2D alone. Breast tomosynthesis (3D Mammogram) produces a three-dimensional view of the breast tissue providing improved visibility for the radiologist to see the breast tissue detail in a way not possible before.

3D Mammography is the leading industry standard for the early detection of breast cancer. 3D mammogram produces hundreds of thin-sectioned images instead of the standard 8 views of 2-D mammograms of the past. This extra image information provides the radiologist much better visibility in screening for breast cancer detection.
